COYI’s

I think you are being melancholy for the old fashioned position of “goal hanger”

They are almost extinct and rarely seen outside of the lower leagues.

Premier League coaches want something else from forward play.

Not only that, but arguably our two most successful centre forwards in this period (Antonio and Arnautovic) are wide forwards who were converted to lead the line.

Not that this really needs saying, but that list is a shocking indictment on how to run a football club.

Even if somebody provides evidence that the club has earnt a profit from moving these players on it is just fucking appalling recruitment and scouting. Notwithstanding the unintended consequences that it must the club a standing joke within the football industry.

Not anyone will be interested but after reading that article my new second team is Deportivo Maldonado.

They did mention that in the 11 years the Dave’s have been in charge, we have had 49 forwards.

And said it reflected our poor recruitment

They’re all much of a muchness in presentation, really, and seem to interchange with the free lancing commentators, with one or two exceptions - Tyler for example is only on Sky. Not like in days of old when you had your BBC lot - Coleman, Motson, Davies vs ITV - Moore...er....and...er....others.

Sky have scooped up al the black one armed non binary lesbians for their coverage.

Think we got lucky as only game on Amazon, usually terrible. I prefer sky commentary team when they do the football league a real step up , why the drop down for the prem is beyond me. as for someone saying BT have a word when we played Everton i, it was a scouse fest and talked about Everton only, BT is shocking like the BBC getting a free run at it and all they do is get the most famous shite pros , Rio , scholes mcmanaman etc .

Apart from all they talked about for 2 mins was swapping fucking sandwiches and what types they were and when they were going to be eating them on the way home.

I quite like that sort of stuff.

Have you ever thought of turning off the score updates or your phone completely, son?

It's not the phone it's the fact that I'm not watching it live.

Clinton Morrison is shocking. It’s like listening to the local rude boy taking about football.

I quite liked the numerous digs at our shit stadium particularly the comments on how far the stands are from the pitch.

Any commentary that isn’t Martin Tyler or Sam Matterface is good for me.
